U4GM How to Craft a Titan Two Handed Mace guide POE2

PoE 2 Titan 2H mace crafting guide: bless an Emperor Greathammer, add Abrasion flat phys, force a Kurgal prefix via Well of Souls omens, roll Onslaught, reveal big hybrid phys, then corrupt for an enchantment.

If you're playing Titan in Path of Exile 2, you'll figure out pretty fast that "just farm and hope" isn't a plan. You want a repeatable craft, something you can budget for, not a roulette wheel. That's why I start by setting aside some PoE 2 Currency and hunting a clean magic base that already feels worth upgrading: an Emperor's Massive Greathammer of Legend with a strong physical roll baked in. If it's got that chunky increased physical damage line plus accuracy and life on kill, you're off to a great start. Before you touch any serious materials, take it to Hibinashi and get it blessed. It's quick, it's routine, and it saves you from regretting a skipped step later.

Step 1: Turn the base into a real weapon

Next up, you're converting that magic hammer into a rare with a Greater Essence of Abrasion. This part isn't about gambling for perfection. It's about locking in a reliable flat physical damage roll, the kind that makes every later percent modifier matter. After the essence slam, you'll usually be staring at a rare that already hits harder than most "lucky" drops people brag about. Don't rush past this moment. Check what you've got, make sure the item still has room to grow, and keep your goal in mind: stable prefixes first, flashy stuff later.

Step 2: Force the third prefix with the Well of Souls

This is where a lot of players mess up because they treat Desecration like it's random noise. It isn't, not if you prep it right. Head to the Well of Souls with two Omens sitting in your inventory: Omen of Sinistral Necromancy so the next Desecration becomes a prefix, then Omen of the Blackblooded so it's a Kurgal Desecration modifier. Use a Preserved Jawbone to trigger it and you'll land an unrevealed prefix without stuffing the item with junk suffixes. It feels weird crafting around a hidden mod, but that's the point. You're building control into the process.

Step 3: Fill out suffixes without bricking your core damage

Once your prefixes are in a good place, you can start treating suffixes like the "tuning" they really are. Pop an Omen of Greater Exaltation, then use a Greater Exalted Orb to add two modifiers in one go and push the item toward six total. With the weapon basically full, you can reroll or replace suffixes far more safely, because your big physical foundation isn't the part you're risking. If you're willing to pay for consistency, a Perfect Essence of Battle is a strong call since it guarantees the chance to gain Onslaught on killing hits. Titans love that pace. It just makes mapping feel better.

Step 4: Reveal, quality, and the corruption gamble

Now you go back and reveal that Desecrated prefix. You're hoping for a brutal hybrid physical modifier, the kind that can spike your increased physical damage massively, even if it comes with a downside like reduced attack speed. Don't panic if it's not "perfect." Flat damage plus a huge percent line is what pushes your totals into the absurd range once you bring quality up to 20%. After that, it's Temple of Corruption time. Bring an Omen of Corruption so your Vaal Orb actually changes the item, then take the enchant if it lands something useful like increased stun buildup. It's a scary click, yeah, but if you're already investing in U4gm and doing this craft properly, that last risk is what turns a solid mace into a real endgame bully.
